Training Programs
The Baltimore Washington Institute for Psychoanalysis is now accepting applications for the Two Year Program in Adult Psychotherapy for the class beginning fall 2010.
The Adult Psychotherapy Program is a two-year continuing education program for mental health professionals who wish to enhance their psychoanalytic understanding and therapy skills in their work with adults. It includes seminars and supervision. For more information click here.
The Child Psychotherapy Program is a two-year continuing education program for mental health professionals. This program is designed for psychotherapists who wish to enhance their ability to use psychoanalytic principles in their work with children, adolescents, and their families. This is an advanced level course, intended for degreed child therapists (e.g., psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and nurse practitioners). Familiarity with psychoanalytic thinking is a pre-requisite. For more information click here.
