Fellowship Programs

The Adult Psychoanalysis Fellowship Program is a one-year program designed for individuals who have a significant interest in psychoanalysis as a body of knowledge and as a framework with which to understand and carry out therapeutic efforts.  Intended for advanced graduate students and residents as well as recent graduates in Psychiatry, Psychology and Social Work, the program at its core consists of monthly seminars presented by psychoanalysts on clinically-related topics.  Fellows are also welcome to attend Forums on Psychoanalysis and other conferences offered by the Institute and Society. For more information click here.

The Child Psychotherapy Fellowship program is a one-year program specifically designed for child mental health professionals who are interested in deepening their understanding of working with children from a psychoanalytic or psychodynamic perspective. The program is tuition-free. Detailed discussions of actual clinical work with children and reviews of relevant psychoanalytic literature will be used as a framework to enhance understanding and ability to carry out therapeutic work.
