Fellowship Programs
The
Adult Psychoanalytic Fellowship
program
is now
accepting applicants for the 2010-2011 Fellowship Program. The
deadline is July 15.
The Child Fellowship Program is a one-year tuition-free program specifically designed for child mental health professionals interested in further understanding and developing their skills in working with children and adolescents from a psychoanalytic or psychodynamic perspective. Intended for advanced trainees and recent graduates in psychiatry, psychology, and social work, the program consists of monthly seminars presented by psychoanalysts. In each seminar meeting, either a detailed discussion of actual clinical work with a child or adolescent or the presentation of a special topic of interest to the group (e.g., trauma in childhood, work with parents, adoption) will provide a framework to understand and carry out therapeutic work. Child Fellows are also invited to attend Psychoanalytic Forums and other conferences offered by the Institute and Society. For more information click here.
Selected Introductory courses will be open to individuals who have completed, or are taking, our psychotherapy courses or fellowship programs. Other interested mental health professionals may also apply. For more information click here.
